Araneum HTTP Server - When Simplicity and Performance Matters.
When the Araneum HTTP Server started it's life in late 2010 it started out as a stripped down fork of the security centered Hiawatha
webserver. Araneum has since then focused on performance and simplicity, our goal is to create a secure, high-performance web server even your grandma can install, configure and administer. Araneum is Open Source and is licensed under the GPL
license.
While still being easy to install and configure by the novice, we want to give the professional all the features he or she needs to run that traffic heavy business site. And by doing so, saving a lot of money in reduced investments in new hardware.

The Araneum HTTP Server has been built with performance in mind. Therefore techniques often reserved for embedded platforms has been used to ensure maximum performance. Let's speed up the Web.
Simplicity
For a simple personal website, it's probably not even necessary to change a single line in the default config, if you however need to do some changes, all features are well documented. If you still have problems, please ask for help in our forum.
